Welcoming newborns \u2013 here\u2019s how it\u2019s going with preparing the way for the Tansen maternity ward expansion. First we had to build a new space for the admin offices, on a roof! This is getting close to finished \u2013 there has been huge recent progress with the walls and concrete roof completed in March. We hope the interior will be completed ready for admin to move in this month. Then the old admin offices will be converted into space for 18 extra beds for maternity patients, doubling the existing capacity.<\/p>\n

Thank you to all those who gave to the appeal and prayed for this expansion to reduce overcrowding and help more babies be welcomed into the world safely in our hospital!<\/p>\n
