United Mission Hospital Tansen (UMHT) held its 25th Annual General Meeting on 8 January 2025. The meeting provided an opportunity to reflect on the hospital’s remarkable achievements and also to discuss strategic plans for the future.

Yub Raj Acharya, UMN’s Hospital Services Director, inaugurated the meeting and shared plans to introduce CT scan facilities and specialised services in the future. He also outlined initiatives to collaborate with private and public sectors to provide improved services to the community.

Hospital Director, Dr Rachel Karrach, presented the hospital’s Annual Progress Report, highlighting that UMHT served 77,311 patients during the fiscal year 2023/2024. Additionally, Jivan Bhattarai, Administration Officer, presented the hospital’s budget report.

We thank all the members, stakeholders, local political leaders, and representatives for their active engagement and contribution to making the meeting a success.
